- Reminder Content: Text, photos, voice recordings, and other content you create in reminders
- Device Information: Anonymous device identifier for syncing your data
- Location Data: Only when you create weather or location-based reminders (never tracked later)
Automatically Collected Information
- Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage, and crash reports to improve the app
- Device Information: iOS version, device model (for compatibility)
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide and maintain the RemindMe service
- Process your reminders and deliver notifications
- Monitor weather conditions, web content, and location triggers as requested
- Improve app features and fix bugs

- Process subscription payments through Apple
Data Storage and Security
- Secure Storage: Your data is stored securely on our servers with encryption
- No User Accounts: We don't require personal accounts - only anonymous device identifiers
- Photos: Reminder photos are stored in your iOS Photos app, not on our servers. They are sent to external LLM only one time for context
- Voice Data: Voice is converted to text instantly and not stored by app or servers
Third-Party Services
RemindMe uses the following third-party services:
- OpenAI: For AI-powered reminder creation
- Apple Services: For App management, weather and location based reminder triggers
- YouTube API: For content monitoring features

Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access Your Data: Request a copy of your reminder data
- Delete Your Data: Request deletion of all your data from our servers
- Export: Request export your reminders at any time
Data Retention
- Account deletion requests should be made via email and are processed within 30 days
Location Data
When you create location-based reminders:
- We request "Always" location permission to monitor triggers in the background on the app
- Location is ONLY checked when you have active location-based reminders
- We do NOT track your location or store location history
- Location data is used solely to trigger reminders at specified places
- You can revoke location permissions anytime in iOS Settings
Notifications
We send push notifications for:
- Reminder alerts when conditions are met
- Important app updates or service issues
You can manage notification preferences in iOS Settings.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of RemindMe after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
